About Our Prayer Team
New
Life’s Prayer Team Ministry is excited and eager
to pray for you. There have been amazing things happening
during prayer time on Sunday, Wednesday night and during Soaking
Prayer. People are getting healed; doctors’ are
confounded! We are seeing what doctors call “suspicious” lumps
and nodules miraculously disappear upon further testing. We
are seeing backs and ligaments healed by the mighty hand of
God and we are excited? Praise God for what He is doing
for His children.
Our Prayer Team Ministry
is made up of members of the Church who have fulfilled specific
training requirements. In
addition to either completing the levels of Healing Ministry
Training and/or the Soaking Prayer School, they were personally
recommended by the Prayer Team Ministry Leader and approved
by the Senior Pastor. Each Prayer Team Minister follows
specific guidelines, which have been set up to help our church
provide a safe, caring environment for those seeking prayer. These
guidelines are available upon request for anyone to view.
New Life takes great
care in assuring a safe place to worship, including nurturing
the integrity and reputation that a person who seeks prayer
can have absolute confidence in the prayer procedures followed.
If you need prayer,
or just want the peace that only Jesus Christ can give you,
don’t be shy; we want to pray for
you. Look for Prayer Team members. They are easily
recognized by their nametags.
Our Prayer Ministries
Individual Prayer Ministry
Our Individual Prayer Ministry is
a special healing prayer time/process, and is available through
appointment only. If
you are interested in more information or in making an appointment
with a member of our team, contact Myong Cha Ferrara, Prayer
Ministry Leader, by calling the church office.
Altar
Prayer
We offer altar prayer after our regular Sunday services,
as well as after our mid week Wednesday service, At
the close of the service, simply come to the front of the
church and a member of our Prayer Team will be available
to pray with you.
Soaking Prayer
Our Soaking Prayer Ministry is every
Tuesday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in our quiet prayer
room. This is a special
time to rest in God’s presence. Jesus says, “Ask
and you will receive”. We’re very good
at the asking part. But, how about the receiving? Soaking
is the listening part of our conversation with Him. In
our busy culture it appears to be almost impossible to find
such a time and place of rest. Soaking prayer time
will provide you with such a place.
Soaking is a Psalm 23 experience; “He
makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me besides
still waters. He restores my soul”. In
Psalm 46:10 God tells us to “Be still and know that
I am God”. Let the Holy Spirit minister
to you. Break away from the fast lane and turn
over your concerns and cares to Him, and be refilled, reenergized,
encouraged and strengthened. You do not have to strive,
work, or perform. Just come for a time of rest.
Prayer Chain
We have an active prayer chain ministry
in our church, which provides intercessory prayer for any
prayer concerns/needs you may have. If you have a prayer
request please e-mail nlccprayerchain@aol.com or
call Shari Kelly at 203-746-4041, and your request will be
sent to our prayer chain members. Your concern
will be lifted up in prayer by many.
