Sunday School

Our Mission is to provide life-changing worship and teaching that transforms lives and make disciples. This is consistent with the overall Church mission of New Life Community Church and we believe that it is consistent with Matthew 28:19-20 as taught by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Why Is Sunday School Important?

Sunday school has a unique ability to provide a Bible study experience for every member of every family at a level that is theologically and educationally appropriate to each person’s life stage. The whole family can participate in all the biblical purposes in one trip to the church, whether your family is just one person or many. In addition every member of the family not only experiences Bible study in Sunday School, but also fellowship and ministry. We offer different classes for the entire family from Kindergarten up, based upon grade level. Be sure to check out our Adult Bible Study offerings under ministries- adult bible studies.

Children’s Church

Children’s Church is an opportunity for children from Kindergarten through 5th grade to participate in a worship and discipleship time tailored for them during our 11:00 am worship service. Staff is available in the lower church at the beginning of the service to welcome all participating children. Children’s Church begins with Praise and Worship time, prayer, offering, and a lesson, by age group. The lesson is broken down into four parts: The teachers first introduce the class with an object lesson to peak the children’s interest, the next step is the biblical lesson using David C. Cook curriculum. During this time students learn to use their Bible and learn Bible verses. The next step is an activity to reinforce the lesson, and the final step is an example of how to apply the lesson. If time permits at the very end additional learning may take place with an appropriate game or DVD. The curriculum is focused on making disciples. This service has been combined with our Sunday School for this age group and gives us the opportunity to extend the lesson and implement a format that mirrors the worship service in the main Sanctuary.

Vacation Bible School

Mark your calendars New Life’s Vacation Bible School will be July 13th – 17th this year!  Last year’s Lifeway's Outrigger Island Vacation Bible School was a huge success. With classes from Pre-K to Adults and crafts, music, snacks, games, recreation, mission, and lots of fun, this year’s Vacation Bible School will have something for the entire family!
